Well, this concludes the second week of having a Grandma stay with us here at the Gaffney household. We are officially on our own again. Let me tell ya, Mama is more than a little nervous.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Grandma Gaffney and Grandma Boehm and couldn't be more thankful for them to have shared their time with us.
Barret got to have lots of adventures to the park, the grocery store, and anywhere else they took him. While Mama got to spend time at home relaxing with baby Levi. Today however, Mama and Barret went on a date. The rain put a bit of a spoiler in our plans of heading to the park, but we managed to make it work anyway. We headed to the Children's Museum right after Barret's morning nap for some us time and we enjoyed every minute of it. Barret had a ton of fun at the water table (if you couldn't have already guessed that he would spend most of his time there) and by the end of it he was soaked. After an hour or so there we ran through the rain up the street to Emack and Bolio's for some much needed chocolaty ice cream. And let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. We had so much fun together!
Grandma Boehm left this afternoon after both boys went down for a nap. It was great having her spend the week with us and we will miss her.
So if you ever find yourself wondering what to pray about this coming week, pray that mama keeps her sanity and doesn't break down into tears every ten minutes because I can't keep both little ones happy. Thanks!
